Inventor of the blue and white LED
Thirty years ago, Nichia succeeded in developing the world's first bright blue LED, which was a hundred times brighter than anything before it. In 1996, Nichia succeeded in producing the world's first white LED by combining a blue LED with yellow phosphor.
Today, the Japanese company is not only the world market leader in the LED sector with a wide range of products, but also a pioneer and innovator in the field of LEDs. Nichia LEDs impress with their long service life, efficiency and brightness. Nichia's focus is primarily on light-emitting diodes with an input of less than one watt. These LEDs are therefore particularly suitable for the production of LED modules.
Nichia also has an extensive portfolio of UV LEDs.

Founded in 1999, ARI International Corporation is an international company that supplies silicone rubber-based products to the automotive and general lighting industries. The company is a subsidiary of the Japanese industrial rubber manufacturer Asahi Rubber Inc. and was founded in 1970. ARI International specializes in the supply of silicone-based optical products, including lenses for UV and light applications.
