Powerful control for luminaires

In addition to the very small MiniController for Tunable White and Dim2Warm applications, LUMITRONIX® has developed the PowerController V2, a control unit that opens up completely new possibilities for the lighting industry because it can be quickly and easily programmed beyond the standard configuration to suit the desired function using software. In future, you will only need one product for different control requirements, which you configure yourself: the PowerController.

MINICONTROLLER

The very small Tunable White control unit for luminaires

The MiniController from LUMITRONIX® offers a powerful control unit for "Tunable White" LED modules in the smallest of spaces. Regardless of whether the "Tunable White" LED modules are operated with 12 V, 24 V or 30 V, this MiniController enables the simple and cost-effective realisation of "Tunable White" luminaires or the control of "Tunable White" LED modules. The high performance data supports this variability. With its adjustable modes, the MiniController is ideally equipped for a wide range of applications and leaves virtually nothing to be desired. In addition, with the new Casambi version, the MiniController can now also be conveniently operated via app (iOS, Android)

  • Ideal for integration in floor lamps, table lamps, wall lights, pendant lights or for installation in household appliances such as extractor hoods

  • Ideally suited for controlling the following LUMITRONIX® "Tunable White" products: LumiFlex, SlimFlex, BackMatrix and SmartArray

  • For controlling constant voltage LED modules (output voltage 8-30 V)

  • Input voltage dependent on the LED module (8-30 V)

  • Very small dimensions: 80x10x11mm and therefore ideal for integration into the luminaire

  • High current carrying capacity of up to 2.5 A

  • High output power of up to 75 W (at 30 V)

  • Very low standby power of <36 mW at 12 V

  • Memory function: The brightness and colour temperature values are retained even if the mains supply is interrupted or restored

  • Integrated push-button for controlling all functions

  • Holes with countersunk holes for M3 screws for easy mounting in the luminaire

  • WAGO PCB terminal blocks (AWG 26 to AWG 22) for quick and secure tool-free connection

  • Ideal for integration in floor lamps, table lamps, wall lights, pendant lights or for installation in household appliances such as extractor hoods

  • Ideally suited for controlling the following LUMITRONIX® "Tunable White" products: LumiFlex, SlimFlex, BackMatrix and SmartArray

POWERCONTROLLER V2

Great flexibility and full power

As a powerful control unit for Tunable White, Dim2Warm or colour change, the new generation of PowerController offers a wide range of possibilities - and all this with a minimal size of just 99 x 29 x 13 mm. Four input channels (two active and two passive) enable the connection of, for example, push-buttons, dimmers or sensors, while four output channels provide a great deal of flexibility for the realisation of a wide variety of lighting scenarios.

Using the software specially developed by LUMITRONIX®, luminaire manufacturers can equip the control unit with the exact functions required for a specific product family. You can either opt for a pre-programmed standard configuration or define yourself how the inputs and outputs are assigned, which functions are to be executed or at what time dimming, timer, touch or fading effects are to run. This means that a separate control unit does not have to be developed and stocked for every requirement or product family.

Smart extensions for Casambi and DALI

Smart operability has also been considered in the new development. LUMITRONIX® offers two further versions of the PowerController V2, in which the extension for Casambi (Bluetooth) and DALI (network) are already integrated. This makes it easy to configure applications via smartphone or tablet in the Casambi app or to control them with DALI technology.

  • Up to four analogue signal sources can be freely configured: Push-button, switch, 0-10 V, 1-10 V, NTC, potentiometer, LDR

  • Two analogue signal sources can also be used with active sensors, e.g: Motion sensor, brightness sensor, capacitive push-button or infrared sensor

  • Four output channels (e.g. 2x Tunable White / 1x RGBW / 4 individual colours)

  • A total of up to 10 A can be switched via the output channels (1x 10 A / 2x 5 A)

  • For controlling constant voltage LED modules (output voltage from 12 - 30 V)

  • Input voltage dependent on the LED module (12 - 30 V)

  • Output power: 120 W at 12 V DC; 240 W at 24 V DC; 300 W at 30 V DC

  • The compact design with a height of 13 mm and a width of 29 mm allows installation in almost any luminaire. The practical terminals enable quick and easy installation.

  • Ideally suited for controlling the following LUMITRONIX® Tunable White, Dim2Warm and RGBW products: LumiFlex, SlimFlex, BackMatrix and SmartArray 24 V

  • Ideal for controlling all types of luminaires with "Tunable White" LED modules, e.g. ceiling luminaires, industrial luminaires, free-standing luminaires, wall luminaires, pendant luminaires
